That night we flew to Las Vegas and stayed in a big hotel called Bellagio. It has amazing water fountains that put on a show to music. They sound like fireworks. It was very hot in Las Vegas 43°C so we spent a day at the pool. The next day we went to the shopping outlets and I bought lots of stuff.

We drove to San Diego and that is where we are now. We are staying in Scripps Inn across the road from the beach, it is really nice here. We have been to San Diego zoo and so lots of animals. Hello from the U.S.A (part 1)

One the flight over I got one hour sleep on the plane and 11 at the hotel the night we arrived.  we were staying at a place in West Hollywood.

That day we went to a little café and had some nice food there. After  we found a hop on hop off bus it too. it took us all around Hollywood and Beverley Hills . I liked when we went down Rodeo drive  and when we saw the Hollywood sign.

After we went to Santa Barbra, Monterey and on the way we stop at a very big Castle built by a very rich American man Hearst.

I enjoyed most of those places but there was really nothing to tell. Except for shopping and walking around.

after those 2 places we went to Yosemite National Park for 2  nights. We had 2 cabins/tents. Mum and I share a room and Xavier and Dad shared another. We got told about the bears liking the smell of sweet things and our toiletries so we had to lock up all those things in a special bear proof box out the front of our tent cabins.

We went hiking, swimming, climbing and went to a rock pool at the bottom of the waterfall. It was so much fun!

San Francisco had lovely weather. We stayed there for 5 nights. here is what we did:

  • The Academy of Science. It had a Aquarium – a Planetarium –  a roof top garden –  live birds, butterflies, snakes, insects and penguins.
  • We went to a island called Alcatraz it use to be a prison so the could not escape then then the Red Indians took over. now you can go and look around.
  • We rode our bikes over the golden gate bridge and went to a famous hamburger place in Sausalito.
  • Shopping

Send you some more information later.
